Softball Preview: Cocoa Beach Minutemen vs. Cocoa Tigers
The Cocoa Beach Minutemen will challenge the Cocoa Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cocoa Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
On Wednesday, Cocoa Beach made easy work of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and carried off a 9-3 victory. The Minutemen haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Zoe Vella spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
