Basketball Recap: Old Town Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ellsworth, Old Town was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hermon Hawks, sneaking past 42-40. The Coyotes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Old Town's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Hermon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Old Town will welcome Mount Desert Island at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Desert Island knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Old Town likes a good challenge. As for Hermon, they will host John Bapst Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
