Baseball Recap: East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] Wins Going Away Against Yonkers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln, East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-12 margin over the Yonkers Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Sadiel Rodriguez was incredible, firing off two home runs, five runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. Jayker Ogando was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.

East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

As for Yonkers, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-8 victory against Gorton on the 17th.
