Volleyball Recap: Calais Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Calais lost against George Stevens Academy on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Calais started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-12.

Peyton Beal paced Calais' offense, picking up six kills. Beal got some help from Addison Ellsmore and her 13 assists.

Calais' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for George Stevens Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Calais didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Woodland on the 26th. As for George Stevens Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Narraguagus on the 26th.
