Madison County took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Hart County Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. For the Red Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 33-31 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Trynt Latimore went supernova, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mead McGinnis, who rushed for 98 yards and one TD.

Hart County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison County will host Loganville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hart County, they will take on Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
