Summerville has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Ashley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Summerville Green Wave will head out on the road to face off against the West Ashley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Molly Daugherty and Destiny Ladson.

Summerville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Ashley Ridge, who was ranked seventh at the time (Summerville was ranked 16th). Summerville fell 60-48 to Ashley Ridge on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Wave in their matchups with the Swamp Foxes: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Ashley). They blew past Stall, posting an 87-18 victory. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Summerville better keep an eye on Ladson. She was instrumental in West Ashley's win, going 13 of 21 en route to 32 points along with six assists and six steals. Ladson has become a key player for West Ashley: the team is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 6-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Emma Elliott, who posted 16 points in addition to seven assists and five steals.

West Ashley was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory (which was West Ashley's third in a row) raised their record to 12-9. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 42.6% in those games and 24.7% outside of them. As for Summerville, their loss dropped their record down to 19-3.

Everything came up roses for Summerville against West Ashley in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as the squad secured a 60-29 win. In that matchup, Summerville amassed a halftime lead of 35-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
