While Milwaukee School of Languages's win against Brown Deer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Falcons 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Milwaukee School of Languages had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Milwaukee School of Languages' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Brown Deer, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-15.

Coming up, Milwaukee School of Languages will square off against Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brown Deer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Hmong American Peace Academy on the 20th.
