Broken Arrow has gone 7-1 against Edmond Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Broken Arrow is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Broken Arrow is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Union, who was ranked 11th at the time (Broken Arrow was ranked fifth). The Tigers strolled past the Redhawks with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 29-10. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Broken Arrow found their leader in sophomore Colton Barlow, who made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass. Corey Sango showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
Meanwhile, Edmond Memorial took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 38-7 victory over Westmoore. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Broken Arrow better keep an eye on Nick Booker. He was instrumental in Edmond Memorial's win, rushing for 194 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns Booker has posted since back in November of 2024. Issac Woodard also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.
Edmond Memorial's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Bradyn McGowen refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Another thorn in Westmoore's side was McGowen, who picked up 1.5 sacks, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles.
Broken Arrow's record is now 6-2. As for Edmond Memorial, their record now sits at an identical 6-2.
Broken Arrow took a serious blow against Edmond Memorial in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 61-28. Thankfully for the Tigers, David McComb (who threw for 273 yards and one TD while completing 73.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
