Recap: Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER vs. South Philadelphia Rams

After flying high against the Overbrook Panthers last Thursday, The Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER came back down to earth. Kensington fell 20-12 to South Philadelphia on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, Kensington couldn't push the score so high this time.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Philadelphia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khair Glascow, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Neelaj Armstead also helped out with an impressive 150 receiving yards.

Kensington's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for South Philadelphia, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kensington will take on Northeast at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kensington in Pennsylvania (Northeast is ranked 220th, while Kensington is ranked 454th). As for South Philadelphia, they will head out on the road to face off against Olney at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Olney is on a four-game streak of home losses, South Philadelphia a five-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
