Soccer Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Westmoreland's game on Wednesday was all tied up 3-3 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Mathews Blue Devils by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that Westmoreland have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Westmoreland and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Westmoreland and Mathews will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Westmoreland sees the pitch they'll take on Richmond High School for the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on April 11. As for Mathews, their break will end when they face New Kent at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
