Recap: Hancock Panthers vs. Hyndman Charter School Hornets
The Hancock Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hyndman Charter School 78-49 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Hancock has managed all season.
Aiden McCarty was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Anderson, who scored eight points along with seven steals and five assists.
Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Hyndman Charter School, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Northern is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Hyndman Charter School, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m.
