Potlatch's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Lapwai Wildcats 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Loggers, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Jay Marshall, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Waylan Marshall was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Potlatch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lapwai only managed two hits.

Potlatch's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Lapwai, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Potlatch beat the Wildcats by a score of 15-5 later that day.
