Basketball Recap: Laguna Acoma Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ramah last Tuesday, Laguna Acoma came back down to earth. The Laguna Acoma Hawks took a blow against the Rehoboth Christian Lynx on Tuesday, falling 66-33. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Lynx recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Laguna Acoma's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Rehoboth Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Coming up, Laguna Acoma will welcome Navajo Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laguna Acoma is facing Navajo Pine at the right time seeing as Navajo Pine is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Rehoboth Christian, they will square off against Dulce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dulce comes in on three and Rehoboth Christian on seven.
