Soccer Game Preview: Maple Valley vs. Springport

Maple Valley hasn't had much luck against Springport recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Spartans at 5:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Maple Valley challenged Stockbridge on Monday. Neither the Lions nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Maple Valley's first draw of the season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Springport and Quincy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Spartans came up short against the Orioles on Monday, falling 5-2. Springport have struggled against Quincy recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Maple Valley's draw makes their record 0-6-1 this season. As for Springport, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
