Marion has gone 9-1 against Centralia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Orphans at 4:30 p.m. Marion will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Marion saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past Waltonville 7-1. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Centralia ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past Mt. Vernon 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Orphans.

Centralia's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.

Everything went Marion's way against Centralia in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Marion made off with a 9-2 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Orphans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
