Baseball Preview: Beekmantown Eagles vs. Peru Nighthawks
Beekmantown is 2-8 against Peru since May of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Nighthawks at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Friday, Beekmantown got the win against AuSable Valley by a conclusive 21-11. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Peru, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Franklin Academy on Saturday as they made off with a 17-5 victory. The Nighthawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 11 runs or more this season.
