Softball Recap: Sequim Takes a Loss

Sequim was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kingston Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 24-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Sequim's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kingston, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sequim is set to take on their familiar foe North Mason at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kingston will face off against rival Bremerton at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
