After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hooks, North Lamar was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Pleasant Grove Hawks by a score of 14-11. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North Lamar's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Pleasant Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

The future could be bright for both North Lamar and Pleasant Grove: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. North Lamar will try to hand Paris their 11th-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lamar has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Similarly, Pleasant Grove will look to extend Pittsburg's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st.
