Basketball Recap: Sabetha Takes a Loss

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-25 defeat at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 48-18 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rock Creek, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Sabetha and Rock Creek will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bluejays are set to take on their familiar foe Hiawatha at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rock Creek will square off against rival Marysville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
