Softball Recap: Pottsville Comes Up Short

Pottsville fell victim to North Schuylkill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 15-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 28, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Pottsville's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for North Schuylkill, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pottsville will challenge rival Mahanoy Area at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Schuylkill is set to face off against their familiar foe Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
