Baseball Game Preview: Browne Bruins vs. Maryvale Panthers

For the second straight game, Browne will face off against Maryvale. The Bruins will face off against the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Browne will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Browne barely beat Maryvale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Panthers on Tuesday. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Jayc Garcia was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daniel Urias, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Browne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maryvale only posted an OBP of .333.

Maryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Browne, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
