Basketball Recap: Kingman Gets the Win

If Belle Plaine wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kingman, they should've done a better job of containing Ben Bradshaw. The Kingman Eagles took down the Belle Plaine Dragons 66-49 on Friday for which the team can thank Bradshaw, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Logan Birkenbaugh, who en route to 12 points. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.

Kingman's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Belle Plaine, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Kingman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-47 loss against Trinity Academy on the 25th. As for Belle Plaine, they have also already played their next matchup, a 66-33 defeat against Garden Plain on the 24th.
