Basketball Game Preview: Gresham Gophers vs. Hood River Valley Eagles

Gresham and Hood River Valley are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Gresham Gophers will venture away from home to challenge the Hood River Valley Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Gresham will be strutting in after a win while Hood River Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Gresham humbled Franklin with a 57-29 victory.

Meanwhile, Hood River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 43-29 fall against Madras.

Hood River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gresham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Gresham and Hood River Valley were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, but Gresham came up empty-handed after a 47-46 loss. Can Gresham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
