Volleyball Recap: Clear Brook Takes a Loss

Clear Brook lost against Clear Lake back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered against the Falcons since September 16, 2022.

Clear Brook was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-14.

Clear Brook has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-18 record this season. As for Clear Lake, their win bumped their record up to 22-12.

Clear Brook and Clear Lake should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Wolverines will face off against Brazoswood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (359 vs. 855). Meanwhile, Clear Lake (ranked 174th) will meet Clear Falls (ranked 417th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
