Softball Recap: Winchester Has No Trouble Against Cambridge Rindge & Latin

Winchester won the last time they faced Cambridge Rindge & Latin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red & Black blew past the Falcons 18-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red & Black.

Carys Gugliotta was a standout: she scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Centurelli, who scored two runs and stole seven bases while going 1-for-4.

Winchester now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Winchester wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 23-10 win against Melrose on the 9th. Cambridge Rindge & Latin has also already played their next match (against Concord-Carlisle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
