Softball Recap: Clinton County Comes Up Short

If Clinton County was feeling good fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Campbellsville on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Pulaski County Maroons on Thursday, falling 15-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since April 3rd.

Clinton County's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Pulaski County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15-1.

Clinton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pulaski County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Madison Southern at 6:00 p.m. The Maroons are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
