Soccer Recap: Georgetown Triumphs

Georgetown's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers 3-2.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Georgetown will take on Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Mystic Valley Regional on the 15th.
