Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Morgantown

Trinity Christian hasn't had much luck against Morgantown recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors will face off against the Mohigans at 6:00 p.m.

Trinity Christian barely beat Wood County Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcat a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. Trinity Christian haven't had any issues with Wood County Christian recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Morgantown faced Hurricane in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mohigans and the Redskins finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Morgantown have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Morgantown's draw gives them a new season record of 7-3-4. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Trinity Christian suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Morgantown in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
