Basketball Game Preview: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. North Myrtle Beach Chiefs

The Carolina Forest Panthers will head out on the road to take on the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Friday, Carolina Forest came up short against St. James and fell 64-55. The Panthers have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, North Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Socastee, falling 62-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Chiefs have suffered since January 5, 2024.

Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for North Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Carolina Forest beat North Myrtle Beach 59-47 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carolina Forest since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
