Basketball Recap: Bonsall Legionnaires vs. Southern California Yeshiva Hawks

Even though the Bonsall Legionnaires have not done well against the Southern California Yeshiva Hawks recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Bonsall had just enough and edged the Hawks out 40-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bonsall.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zachary Eiseman, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Eiseman also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadav Aron, who scored 11 points along with four steals.

Bonsall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Southern California Yeshiva, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Bonsall won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Tritons at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Southern California Yeshiva, they will head out on the road to take on the at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
