Kyle Hopper Game Report: vs Loganville

The First Academy took down Loganville on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Kyle Hopper's standout effort. Hopper wasn't messing around, striking out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer walks.

The First Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face IMG Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopper has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (he's averaged 6.7 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Ascenders have only allowed 2.6 per game this season.
