Baseball Recap: Hermantown Comes Up Short

Hermantown suffered their biggest defeat since May 6th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks, falling 12-2. The Hawks have struggled against the Thunderhawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Hermantown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micklain Martalock, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Hermantown's loss dropped their record down to 9-13-1. As for Grand Rapids, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

While Hermantown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
