After flying high against Thayer Academy last Monday, Roxbury Latin came back down to earth. The Foxes fell just short of the Tabor Academy Seawolves by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The Foxes' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sam Seaton was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Liam Russell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Roxbury Latin's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Tabor Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roxbury Latin is set to take on their familiar foe Noble & Greenough at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tabor Academy will challenge rival Thayer Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
