Basketball Recap: California School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

California School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 65-54 to the Making Waves Academy Marlins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-30 back in December of 2024.

California School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Making Waves Academy, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Redwood Christian will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something California School for the Deaf surely won't give up without a fight. As for Making Waves Academy, they have already played their next match, a 67-44 win against Oakland Military Institute on the 7th.
