Football Recap: Santiago Sharks vs. Centennial Huskies        
        
		
             Santiago was the  12-6 winner over Centennial when they last played one another  back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Santiago Sharks took  a  26-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Huskies on Monday.
 Despite the loss, Santiago still got an impressive performance from   Maddy Saruwatari, who picked up 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Even if they lost, Santiago's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brooklyn Binder. She also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with eight.
 Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Santiago will play host again  on Monday to welcome King, where kickoff is scheduled  at 5:15  p.m. As for Centennial, they will face off against Roosevelt at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
