Basketball Recap: Mcnair Falls to Drew in First Game of Season

McNair had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 68-57 to Drew. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Drew got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rexson Kenley out in front who posted 13 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ricky Moon, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine assists.

Drew has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNair will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drew, they will face off against Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
