Middletown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lower Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Trojans on Friday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by eight runs or more this season.

Middletown moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lower Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Middletown and Lower Lake will both be playing St. Helena the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Trojans will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
