Baseball Recap: De Leon Comes Up Short

De Leon and Albany squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but De Leon had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. The Bearcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Adam Perez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

De Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Albany, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-3.

As of now, neither De Leon nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
