Baseball Game Preview: Rocklin Thunder vs. Jesuit Marauders

For the second straight game, Rocklin will face off against Jesuit. The Thunder will face off against the Marauders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Rocklin has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Rocklin gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Jesuit 4-3. That's two games straight that the Thunder have won by just one run.

Rocklin saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ward, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Those two runs gave Ward a new career-high. Cash Brennan was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Rocklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
