Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Oldham County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Floyd Central took their victory against Oldham County in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floyd Central since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
