Volleyball Recap: Heritage Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Heritage waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Knightdale Knights with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Heritage took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-7, 25-4.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leticia Levy, who had ten assists and three aces. Those ten assists gave Levy a new career-high. Zoe Townsend was another key player, getting four aces and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Heritage was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in ten consecutive contests.

Heritage now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Knightdale, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Heritage will be playing at home against Rolesville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Knightdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeast Raleigh at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
