Softball Recap: Mt. Whitney Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Mt. Whitney's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Corcoran Panthers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Pioneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Whitney and nudges their season record down to 2-9. As for Corcoran, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Mt. Whitney will take on Orcutt Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Corcoran, they will face off against Atascadero at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
