The Enumclaw Hornets got the win against the Shorewood Stormrays on Friday by a conclusive 42-20. Considering the Hornets have won six games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Trachte threw for 106 yards and one TD on only nine passes. On the ground, Paxton Patterson rushed for 116 yards and one score on only six carries.

When it comes to explaining why Shorewood lost, don't look at Finn Bachler. Despite the final result, he rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 107 receiving yards.

Enumclaw's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Shorewood, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Enumclaw will challenge Kennewick at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hornets 11, the Lions 10.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Shorewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
