Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat on Thursday.

East Rankin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lamar, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-2 record this season.

East Rankin Academy has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Park Place Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Lamar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Wayne Academy on the 25th.
