Basketball Recap: Westover Drops Season-High Score on Peach County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westover). They took down the Peach County Trojans 57-38 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-38 back in January.

Westover found their leader in sophomore Sydney Donaldson, who posted 23 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Donaldson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chasity Green, who had nine points and four steals.

Westover was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Westover's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. As for Peach County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Westover nor Peach County have any future games scheduled.
