Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. South East Jaguars

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out to square off against the South East Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups.

Last Wednesday, Roosevelt didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bell, but they still walked away with a 56-50 victory.

Meanwhile, South East was able to grind out a solid win over Huntington Park on Wednesday, taking the game 58-47. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly 11 points.

Roosevelt has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for South East, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Roosevelt came up short against South East when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 47-41. Can Roosevelt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
