            Baseball Recap: Jupiter Warriors vs. American Heritage Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            Jupiter took a six-run  loss the last time they faced off against American Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Jupiter Warriors had just enough and edged out the American Heritage Patriots  8-7 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Warriors have posted  since April 30, 2024.
 Braedon Hopkins looked comfortable as he  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Colton Schwarz, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Ryan Senecal was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.

The  win was  the sixth in a row for Jupiter, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for American Heritage,  with the  defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter will challenge Wellington at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for American Heritage, they will take on Belen Jesuit at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. American Heritage is facing Belen Jesuit at the right time seeing as Belen Jesuit is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
