Basketball Recap: Phoenix Gets the Win

Phoenix proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 34) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Klamath Union Pelicans 42-40. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 54-28 victory the Pelicans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Phoenix is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Klamath Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Phoenix will host Henley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Henley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Klamath Union, they are taking a road trip to take on Mazama at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
