After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bald Eagle Area, Bellefonte was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Huntingdon Bearcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The one-run effort marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory got Bellefonte back to even at 4-4. As for Huntingdon, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Bellefonte will welcome Philipsburg-Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mounties will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Red Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Huntingdon, they will head out to challenge Bishop Guilfoyle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Marauders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.83 runs per game on average), something the Bearcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
