Reservoir has gone 9-1 against Atholton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Reservoir will host Atholton at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Reservoir fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Mt. Hebron on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 11-10. The 'Gators' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atholton). They were the clear victors by a 23-6 margin over Oakland Mills on Wednesday.

Reagan Law and Elli Cathirell did most of the damage at the plate: Law went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI, while Cathirell went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. Law is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Tatiana Maltez-Rosales was another key player, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4.

Atholton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .586 that Oakland Mills posted.

The win got Atholton back to even at 2-2-1. As for Reservoir, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Everything went Reservoir's way against Atholton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Reservoir made off with a 17-2 victory. Will Reservoir repeat their success, or does Atholton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
